ParkRadar Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms apply between you and Dimitris Katramados (Thessaloniki, Greece), who publishes the app, when you use the ParkRadar app.

1. The service

ParkRadar shows information, shared by other drivers, about on-street parking spots that may be free. It is a best-effort, crowd-sourced service:

2. Safety: never use the app while driving

Do not operate your phone while driving (Greek Road Traffic Code, KOK). Use the radar only when stopped safely, or hands-free through its voice cues, and let a passenger operate it. Follow traffic rules at all times. Speed, stopping or reversing to reach a spot is your responsibility.

3. Your account

You need an account (email code, Apple or Google) and must be 18+ with a driving licence. Keep your sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.

4. Fair use

You agree not to:

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Contributions

When you park, unpark or report, you let us use that information, without your identity, to show spots to other drivers and improve the map. Spot data never identifies you (see the Privacy Policy).

5a. Tokens and head starts

You earn tokens when other drivers park in spots you free, and can spend them on a head start: for a while you see newly freed spots before drivers without one. Tokens cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money, have no cash value, and are lost when you delete your account. We may change how many tokens you earn or a head start costs.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of availability or accuracy. We may change or discontinue features. We will notify you in the app of material changes to these terms.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses arising from inaccurate spot information. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Greek or EU law (including consumer rights).

8. Third-party content

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Some parking positions are derived from Mapillary imagery (CC BY-SA 4.0). The way to a spot is drawn in the app from OpenStreetMap data and may be wrong or out of date (a closed street, a new one-way): road signs always come first. For spots over 2 km away, or when our routing server does not answer, Google Maps opens under its own terms. Possible spots (outlined cars) are estimated from OpenStreetMap streets, not seen by anyone: parking there may be forbidden (a driveway, a yellow line). Road signs always come first.

9. Law and contact

Greek law applies. The courts of Thessaloniki have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your consumer rights. Contact: support@parkradar.gr.
